There is no point in being in a community of a non supported game. How can the Unreal community get bigger without professional events?
Quelques extraits :
« when I say to my friends I play UT they just start laughing and say UT sux »
« after about 1,5 years i’ve seen all and servers get crowded by newbies only(that’s why gamespy stats or where ever you had it from shows UT has more players…it’s more newbie than skilled imo) » … « I switched to q3 last year november and to be honoust i regret that i ever started playing UT after playing q3 seriously. » … « I’ve looked at U2/UT2 and i’m almost 100% sure it will faile in getting big. It’s almost a clone of Tribes2 and i think you’ll know what happend to T2 »
« A lot of times I wish I had begun playing Q3 instead of UT. The simple fact that Epic make games to make lots of money guarantees that their games will not be worthy of play. »
« What is killing UT is the way the community treats tricks and tweaks. » … « The UT community has to put up with this kind of abuse because the newbies cant cope with anyone having the slightest advantage (Changing FOV=Cheat, NoSmoke=Cheat, Hammer[like rocket] jump with jump boots =cheat). The ease at which items can be timed is also annoying, i dont want to duel the next best player in any server every 55 seconds at the belt location, but if i dont, then i will lose.
Etc.
