LG: I would say that Battlefield 1942 is in a genre of it’s own. If you compare the multiplayer part between BF1942 and these you will find that even though you might find vehicles in the other games, the 35 vehicles in our game are more accessible and closer connected to the foot soldiers. With a range from small jeeps up to large carriers and battleships the freedom of choice is enormous. Maybe you can see it as Counter-Strike meets Armored Fist, Destroyer Command and Microsoft’s Combat Flight Sim but we have removed the heavy sim part from these and added the action feeling from Codename Eagle.

Battlefield 1942 est prévu pour l’été 2002 et il pourrait bien s’agir du FPS le plus innovant et le plus tactique depuis Tribes.
