Vu chez BN : Burut vient de trouver un éditeur acceptant de distribuer East Front aux USA dès mars 2006. Histoire de rendre le titre un peu plus sexy, ils l’ont rebaptisé ÜberSoldier !
December 7, 2005 — Cary, North Carolina – CDV Software Entertainment has announced that it will release ÜberSoldier, a WWII FPS for the PC, in March 2006. ÜberSoldier will challenge players to take on the role of a genetically modified super-soldier brought back from beyond the grave, as he seeks retribution against the enemies that surround him. Combining tactical supernatural powers, a veritable arsenal of historically based weaponry and rich mission diversity, ÜberSoldier will deliver a pulse-pounding and original FPS experience.
Ainsi donc, le héros que l’on a pu incarner dans la démo russe du jeu était un super-soldat mort vivant de la 2nd guerre mondiale. Ok, cool…
