Multiplayer is handled by an in-game server browser that easy to use. I’ve played on servers with as many as 18 players at one time during the beta test but the developers at Digital Illusions are going for as many as 64 players for multiplayer games. With that many players on one of these huge maps we can expect to see some massive online FPS battles for the full version of the game.
With support for a lot of players, fun gameplay, tons of vehicles and more, the beta of Battlefield: 1942 is already an exciting and innovative experience and the folks at Digital Illusions and Electronic Arts seem to be aiming high to make the game a huge hit.
