Impreza du clan Xeno a pu tester rapidement UT2003 dans les bureaux de Digital Extreme. L’originalité de la preview c’est qu’Impreza est un joueur de Quake3. Malheureusement, vu le peu de temps qu’il a pu passer sur le jeu, son article reste assez flou. Au final, il est plutôt optimiste :
All in all, my initial impressions of Unreal Tournament 2003 are extremely positive. There are some concerns which I did bring up with the developers at Digital Extremes regarding the need to cater to the competitive community. Server voting options was the main issue that I was pushing for, and they seem to have taken my concerns to thought, and hopefully we will see some type of « competition mode » settings and such, and also allow more player control with voting for changing server options such as map, and gametype.
