Quelques semaines après la sortie allemande de Gotcha!, premier (et médiocre) FPS dédié au sport favori de NoFrag (non, pas la sieste), voici un nouveau jeu à base de paintball. Cette fois-ci, c’est développé par WXP pour Activision Value, ça sort uniquement sur Xbox et ça s’appelle Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball.
Le jeu proposera un mode solo permettant d’affronter plein de stars du paintball (erm) mais devrait surtout être intéressant en multi, via XboxLive, même si les modes proposés resteront très classiques. En plus de l’apparition de vrais joueurs, Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball (que nous nommerons désormais GHTP) proposera une grosse vingtaine de marques officielles pour des produits en tous genres.
Le jeu doit sortir en fin d’année. Comme on peut le voir sur toutes les images (piquées sur Force of Nature et Paintballstar) qui accompagnent cette news, le champ de vision du joueur sera particulièrement réduit. À vrai dire, on se demande un peu qui Activision compte bien séduire avec pareil titre : les joueurs de paintball peuvent, après tout, jouer au paintball. Pour un peu, ça nous ferait penser à NERF: ArenaBlast.
