Playable demo:
– beta version releasing very soon so we can test it online with lots of people and lots of different systems.Next patch:
– VCR record function (like T1 demo’s)
– serious cheat preventions
– a number of other fixes/improvements
– going to beta in the next week or twoFurthermore, I have heard more than once that the next patch was going to deal with gameplay. Does this still hold true?
Yup, there will be some tweaks, thought I cannot say what yet, it still being in development.
When are the new Siege maps and the changed Masada going to be released?
We’re looking at more Seige maps in a future update. I’ll have to check on Masada. I know they’re working on something for Siege for this patch, but I can’t talk about what. I don’t think it’s more maps. – Alex
Whats this about Tribe TV? Is this actually a project in development?
It’s more of a goal than a project in development. If Tribes (as a franchise) can beat out Q3 and UT for popularity, I have a better case for pitching it as a TV show. We’re not there yet, but that’s where we would all love to take it. There’s a couple more things planned for this year that I’m hoping will give us broader appeal. One of them is being announced tomorrow.
