Official announcement STOCKHOLM – June 23 2005 – Today, GRIN is proud to confirm that they are developing the PC version for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Working in close collaboration with Ubisoft’s studios, GRIN is delighted to bring its expertise to the next installment on Windows PC DVD-ROM of the smash-hit squad based shooter franchise.
GRIN has strong experience in military applications (they started developing software for the armed forces). They distinguished themselves in developing groundbreaking technology; GRIN made the first game to feature pixel shaders in cooperation with Nvidia for the launch of the GeForce 3.
Depuis, GRIN a modifié son annonce afin de ne plus indiquer le nom du jeu sur lequel ils bossent : « The name of the brand is a no brainer – but we leave it at that for the moment, going covert and stealthy just as it should be. » Peut-être est-ce au cas où Ubisoft déciderait finalement d’annuler la version PC ?
