GameSpot has received word that id Software plans to show more of Doom III at this year’s QuakeCon, which is being held from August 9 to August 12 in Mesquite, Texas. In addition, the company is rumored to announce a new game as well.
The engine powering Doom III was first at Macworld Tokyo with John Carmack, id software lead programmer and co-owner, demonstrating the engine’s features on a Macintosh system equipped with a GeForce 3.
