La rumeur selon laquelle TimeSplitters 4 était en présentation à l’E3 et se destinait à la Xbox720 tombe un peu à plat : Crytek dément avoir la moindre information concernant la future console de Microsoft :
« Crytek do not have any next generation hardware from Microsoft, nor do we know when Microsoft may announce future hardware or what that hardware will entail. »
