Après l’annonce du départ de Jason Hall chez Warner Bros., Monolith se devait de se découvrir un nouveau PDG au plus vite. C’est chose faite avec Samantha Ryan, qui avait, chez Monolith, surtout oeuvré comme productrice de la série No One Lives Forever.

Kirkland, WA.–January 15, 2004–Monolith Productions, Inc. announced today the appointment of Samantha Ryan to the position of CEO. Samantha had previously been serving as Monolith’s President. This announcement coincides with the departure of previous CEO, Jason Hall, to head up the new Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment division.

« She’s been doing a great job as our President for the past year, and with her transition to CEO we won’t miss a beat. »Samantha joined Monolith in September 1998 and has served in a variety of capacities over the past six years, including Director of Marketing, Producer and COO. She has a background in marketing and product management, including stints at Infinity Broadcasting, a division of CBS, and the Singapore Broadcast Corporation in SE Asia, as well as product campaigns for the Miller Brewing Company, Tetris, and Frito-Lay. Her production experience includes work in the broadcast industry as well as Producer for Monolith’s acclaimed No One Lives Forever series.
