Atari, l’éditeur, et Epic Games, le développeur, ont officiellement annoncé qu’Unreal Tournament 2004, qui était jusqu’à maintenant attendu pour la fin d’année (Atari avait un moment parlé d’une sortie pour le 21 novembre 2003), était repoussé à février 2004. Voilà qui devrait faire les affaires de Call of Duty, de XIII ou encore d’Halo.
Entre UT2004, Doom III, Far Cry, Athena Sword, Nitro Family, Breed, Deus Ex: Invisible War, Söldner, PainKiller ou encore Vietcong: Fist Alpha (sans parler bien évidemment d’une éventuelle sortie retardée d’Half-Life 2), le début d’année sera chargé.[–SUITE–]Le communiqué de presse officiel :
Atari and Epic Games announced today that the release date for Unreal Tournament 2004, the highly anticipated follow-up to last year’s smash Unreal Tournament 2003, has been moved to February 2004.
The game was previously slated for release during the 2003 Holiday season.
