GH: If someone has never owned CS, will they be able to play on CS servers with just the install of CZ?
RP: Yes. This will be the preferred way to play CS on-line after Condition Zero is released because CZ will include some technology enhancements and content upgrades beyond the current level of CS.
GH: How do you see Condition Zero affecting the future of the CS franchise? Will we see more CS releases from Minh and his team or will you guys be working together going forward?
RP: Minh is working on future things – he’s looking forward now that he’s really established the game he set out to create with CS. Currently, the CS source is being updated by Valve and soon Gearbox will be adding to the game as well with our improvements as part of the development of Condition Zero. Condition Zero introduces what single player Counter-Strike is like and consolidates the game into one, clean package.
