Action Nation a interviewé la devteam du mod Quake3 Navy Seals Covert Operations:
Navy Seals : Covert Operations is a new mod for Quake 3 Arena. The mod will be a realistic warfare simulator in which players will fight as either Seals or Tangos. It could be described as a mix between Counter-Strike and Rainbow Six but the developers feel that you will need to play the mod in order to understand the unique aspects of its gameplay. It should feature around 20 different weapons and a large number of maps set over a variety of settings, including urban and desert. There is no release date yet but the interview contains a lot of information on the mod. I interviewed Democritus and Defcon-X from team mirage, who are the developers of the mod.
L’interview est assez interessante: j’y ai notamment appris que NS-CO était un mod résolument orienté réalisme (comme Rainbow6) et non action (comme Urban Terror ou True Combat). Malheureusement pour nous, les développeurs ne savent toujours pas quand ils sortiront la beta1.
