IGNPC: If the game is a hit, do you envision doing an expansion pack, or going ahead with a sequel? What can we expect to see from you in the future?
We like to think that the game will be a major hit among all FPS fans, so of course we are looking to the future. Expansion packs and sequels are certainly viable options, especially when you consider the flexibility of the CryENGINE. To be honest, it wouldn’t surprise us if the first commercial expansion pack was inspired by a community-created MOD. Of course, we’ve got our own ideas about where the franchise is heading, but since we’re already providing the community with some exceptional dev tools, we’re hesitant to reveal too many details about our own ideas.
