GamerPulse interview un des membres de la devteam de FireStarter. La partie la plus intéressante de l’article est la description d’une mission solo typique :
My objective is to stay alive on level within 60 seconds. Appearing at the level start point I can see some ammunition and armor bonuses ahead and a semi-machine gun nearby. I rush to pick those up as the first bloodthirsty monster shows up (a green oval glow indicates that the monster will teleport in a split-second). I turn around to release a good deal of bullets into the hostile muzzle only to see a couple of other beasts popping up behind my back. It’s time to run away. I dash forward to pick up an enhanced armor and see monsters appear here and there. I step on jump-pad, it bounces me high up and aside onto a platform, I find a teleport nearby, shoot down a hideous cat-monster blocking my way to it, go into the teleport, find myself on a different part of the level, pick up a grenade-launcher to kill the beasts effectively with one shot at a distance. In a secret place I find a mighty machinegun, making mince of hordes of monsters easily. 15 seconds to go. Everything goes pretty fast and dynamic – keep running and shooting, don’t stand still. Phew, the time is up and I’m still alive – level completed.
Au moins, pas de problème de red key ou d’énigme stupide.
