GameSpy: How many levels?

Damien: We have 4 levels planned for the single player mode and for multiplayer we’re hoping to get out another 3 at least. Adding more multiplayer levels are just a matter of finding the time. The single player levels follow a strict design that guides the story. The 4 levels include the classic beginning, middle and end story telling elements. What we’re currently debating is breaking each of the 4 levels into a further 3 or 4 levels, giving a total of 12 to 14 levels for the game – to tell a story within 4 levels is difficult, so each of the 4 levels has quite a lot going on, so to do this wouldn’t dilute the game play any and also wouldn’t require significant changes to the design. Again, this a time per person ratio that might not match our current content team and our spare time status.

GameSpy: What types of multiplayer modes have you planned?

Mark: Team DM and CTF (we’ll come up with something a little bit different for this) will be the main ones but I’m such a Rocket Arena and Clan Arena fan I can’t see us not releasing something along those lines also.

FATE devrait sortir en septembre 2002.
