The Deep One’s complexion resembles that of an amphibian, with numerous dark green and brown slimy scales covering its entire body. Although adapted for life underwater, the Deep Ones are fully capable of movement on land. Normally exhibiting a peculiar hopping motion, sometimes on all fours, it is in this form that they are most commonly spotted.
